About Us

We are pBone Music.

Our purpose?

To kickstart the music-making adventure for everyone.

We deliver inclusive and innovative music-making solutions for children, educators and communities worldwide.

We achieve this through manufacturing instruments, partnering with the best of the music industry to identify products and resources and closely-collaborating with educators to help more people play, perform and progress.

We are the team behind an award-winning range of instruments. Our innovative designs have seen us create the world's bestselling trombone, pBone, and a whole host of other plastic musical instruments. From pBuzz to pTrumpet and beyond, our instruments are helping to create more musicians in a fun, sustainable way.

pBone Music began as Warwick Music Group, based in the UK. This group formed from Warwick Music, the prestigious sheet music catalogue which continues to print brass and wind music.

The first instrument created was the innovative design that gave us our name: pBone. The first pBone was sold in 2010, and our plastic trombone can now be found in homes, classrooms and concerts across the globe.

Having transformed the brass trombone into a lightweight, affordable design, the offering of brass instruments grew. pTrumpet, pTrumpet hyTech, and pCornet continued the evolution of brass instruments. pBone mini gave younger trombone players the chance to start sooner. pBugle gave kids a fun introduction to learning the trumpet, and pBuzz was a totally new instrument for children to learn the basics of brass. We even created the world's first carbon-neutral and antimicrobial recorder, pCorder!

Our instruments help to give beginners a spark, but what happens next?

Progressive Instrument Pathways are our roadmap for learners who are looking to take their music further. Partnering with manufacturers and experts from across the music industry, we help educators and those learning to play access the right instruments at the right time.

These pathways originated with our brass journey, but are constantly evolving to include other routes for musical progress, such as woodwind, keyboards, music technology and more.

In the UK education space, collaborating with partners like Yamaha Music UK, Blackstar, Nuvo, Stentor, Ableton, and more is helping to unlock more solutions.

We don't just deliver instruments: we help hubs deliver.

This shared thirst for progression is shared with our partners worldwide and we are excited to build on this work and give even more opportunities to music-makers across the globe.
